Focused Inspections and Structural Inspections
The Licensed Professional Engineers in our firm specialize in existing building construction. It is not uncommon for home and building owners to hire our firm to evaluate specific aspects of a building that they currently own. Examples would include evaluations of roofs, attic ventilation, basement water infiltration, foundation issues, structural framing, new construction methods and materials, etc. Please feel free to contact our office for specific information regarding such services.
Manufactured Home Foundation Inspections
Banks require an inspection by an engineer when purchasing a manufactured home. The home and property must meet accepted HUD standards, or no mortgage can be obtained. Often, the changes needed to comply are minor, and we can specify additional support, anchors, and structural improvements (when needed).
Even if you are paying cash, getting the home inspected is important to protect your investment. We check for proper support, tie-downs, HUD labels, structural damage, and everything included in a standard home inspection.
